What cookies are
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website, so the site can remember things between pages and between visits — that you are signed in, or what is in your cart. We also use related technologies that work in a similar way, such as local storage and tracking pixels. Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by third parties whose services appear on our site.
The categories we use
- Essential. Needed for the site to work — signing in, keeping your cart, completing checkout, and security. These cannot be switched off; without them the site does not function.
- Functional. Remember choices you make, such as language, so the site behaves as you left it.
- Analytics. Tell us how the site is used, so we can improve it.
- Advertising. Let us measure our advertising and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. This includes the Meta Pixel, which reports activity on our website back to Meta.
In plain terms: if you visit our site with advertising cookies allowed, Meta learns that you did, and we may later show you an advertisement on Facebook or Instagram as a result. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy and for its own purposes, and we do not control what else it does with it.
Your choices
In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings then Privacy. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in, the cart and checkout from working.
For advertising specifically. You can limit ad targeting in the ad settings of your Facebook and Instagram accounts, and through your device's system-level advertising controls.
Changes
We may update this policy when the cookies we use change. The version in force is the one published here.
