We are the data controller for the personal information described below.
The law we work under
This policy is given under the Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act, 2003 of The Bahamas. We collect personal information fairly and lawfully, for the purposes set out here, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes.
What we collect and why
- Your name and contact details — to identify you and reach you about your order.
- Delivery and billing address — to deliver or hold your order.
- Order details — to take, fulfil and support your purchase, and to keep the records the law requires.
- Payment confirmation details — to take payment and resolve disputes. We do not store full card numbers or security codes; payment details are handled by our payment provider.
- Account details, if you create an account — to operate your account.
- Messages you send us — to answer you.
- Basic technical information about your visit — to keep the website working and secure.
Where an order requires details specific to the item, such as sizes or fittings, we collect only what is needed to supply it.
We also process personal information about employees and job applicants for employment purposes. Those individuals are given separate information about how their data is handled.

Advertising and messaging
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram and use Meta's advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel on our website, to measure our advertising and to show ads to people who have visited our site or engaged with us. When we use these tools, Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policy and for its own purposes. You can limit this through the ad settings in your Facebook and Instagram accounts, and through your browser's cookie controls.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, or give us your number and agree to messages, we may send you updates about your order. We send marketing messages only if you have opted in, and you can stop them at any time by telling us. WhatsApp messages are carried by Meta under its own terms.
Who else sees your information
We share personal information only where necessary, with payment providers and banks to take payment; delivery and shipping providers to get your order to you; the service providers who host and run our website and business systems, acting on our instructions; Meta, as described above; our professional advisers; and government authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Some of these providers operate outside The Bahamas, so your information may be stored or processed in other countries. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for any period we are required to keep it by law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the Act you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy; correct anything inaccurate or incomplete; delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to hold; or stop sending you marketing.

If you believe we have not complied with the Act, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of The Bahamas.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, and we limit access to those who need it. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
Our website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information for marketing. Where an adult gives us a child's details in order to buy something, we use those details only to supply the order.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published here.
